Hello
Behind the scenes, I reside on Longisland, New York with my boyfriend and our dogs Hazel and Chase. I'm 30 years old and have lived in New York for the past 30 years. Growing up on Longisland, I have the beaches to visit and to get some vitamin sea and the salt breeze in my hair. There are great restaurants, interesting towns to visit, and plenty of exploring and mountain biking opportunities here.
I spend most of my time designing, but when I'm not, I enjoy exploring, visiting new sites in our area or outside New York State, cooking, gardening, mountain biking, and experimenting with new hobbies. Nature, coffee, new and old country music, and heavy metal music are some of my other passions. I enjoy being active and make it a point to visit the gym regularly.
I’m so thankful that I get to do what I love every day and share it with the world. I look forward to getting to know you and working with you!
My Story
Let me take you back to my childhood, when I spent my formative years at my mother's art studio, where she worked as the creative director for a real estate magazine company. I knew I was artistic since I regularly drew and used the computer with her. When I initially started college after graduating from high school, I was like most young people: I had no idea what I wanted to accomplish with my life. To fill the gap, I just enrolled in general education courses. To fill the need, I considered starting classes in the medical field, but I quickly realized that it wasn't a good fit for me. Meanwhile, I completed my first AAS in General Studies in 2016. But it wasn't until my mother went to school to finish her bachelor's degree that I realized Graphic Design was my true calling. In 2018, I completed a second AAS in Graphic Design and graduated. However, I did not stop there. I began working as a freelancer while still in school to develop my portfolio and get industry experience, which I continue to do to this day. I worked as a Graphic Designer intern Festo, a process automation company. I worked for them as a Graphic Design/Marketing intern. I worked on a few projects for them, including company catalogs, process automation handbooks, and trade show brochures. After completing my internship, I planned to continue my education and earn my Bachelor's degree. I began in the fall of 2018 and graduated in the spring of 2021 with a BS in Visual Communication: Art & Graphic Design. During my schooling I acquired a full-time job as a Graphic Designer at Parlux, a perfume company, as where I've been for the past five years, working alongside a team of brand marketing specialists. I enjoy studying and being creative, and the development I received during my education was extremely beneficial to me.
